Formal Recruitment takes place every beginning Fall Semester at The University of Texas. Formal Recruitment is an opportunity for potential new members to visit each sorority on UT’s campus. During this period, potential new members narrow their house selections down day by day. By the final day of Formal Recruitment each potential new member is welcomed by their chosen sorority on Bid Day.

I am Sarah Classen, DG’s 2011 Recruitment Captain. I am looking forward to my favorite time of the year- Texas Recruitment! Bringing new women into our chapter is one of the most important and most rewarding experiences of being a DG, and I can’t wait to share this amazing week with you.
