Philanthropy

The Beta Eta Chapter has been serving the blind and visually impaired community for over 30 years within Austin, Texas. Delta Gammas at the University of Texas are dedicated to serving both the community through hands-on volunteer work with the Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired, as well as devoted to fundraising for The Delta Gamma Foundation and bringing Values and Ethics awareness to the UT Campus.

Delta Gamma is committed to not only supporting our community through hands-on volunteer work, but also dedicated to hosting numerous fundraising events that directly benefit Delta Gamma philanthropies. Fundraising events such as Anchor Slam, a 3-on-3 basketball tournament and Anchor Splash©, a synchronized swimming competition, are held each year in order to raise both money and awareness for the blind and visually impaired. These events allow Delta Gamma to bring awareness to the Austin community about the needs of those who are blind or visually impaired, as well as raise financial support for our much-loved philanthropies.
