The Beta Eta Chapter of Delta Gamma is recognized throughout the Greek Community at UT as an outstanding chapter. For the past two years Delta Gamma has been honored with the Chapter Excellence Award at the Order of Omega Banquet which is held every spring. Delta Gamma's dedication to the community and continuing excellence in education are what makes our fraternity such a successful organization.

Beta Eta’s President, Marci Luedtke
A Message From Our President
My name is Marci Luedtke and I am the President of the Beta Eta chapter of Delta Gamma at the University of Texas at Austin. I am honored to be a part of Delta Gamma and excited about this upcoming year and what we will accomplish as a chapter.
Delta Gamma brings together a diverse group of exceptional young women into a meaningful sisterhood and gives them a home away from home.
We have a vibrant, strong chapter, as evidenced by the various awards that we have won over the last couple of years. Not only are we Delta Gamma Chapter of the Year, but we have won 6 Order of Omega Awards, including Outstanding Chapter. It is also our third year in a row to be voted UT’s Utmost Sorority by our peers on campus. In addition to having the highest freshman GPA and third highest active GPA of all sororities on campus in 2009, we are also the only chapter on campus that works with the University to bring a lectureship speaker to UT. In the past we have brought Carl Bernstein, Lois Jenson, and year before last presented the real life hero from Hotel Rwanda, Paul Rusesabagina to the University.
We also work hard to impact our community. Delta Gamma’s philanthropy is Service for Sight, and we are one of the fortunate few chapters here at UT that participates in hands-on volunteer work with the students of Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired. We also have creative events on campus to raise money for the Delta Gamma Foundation. Each year we host a synchronized swimming competition called Anchor Splash, a concert called Anchor Bash, and a basketball tournament called Anchor Slam to benefit the blind and visually impaired.
But most of all, we have an exceptional, strong sisterhood. Delta Gamma has brought me motivated, intelligent, beautiful life-long friends who push me to be the very best possible version of myself. They share in the highs and lows of college, and I am so blessed to be surrounded by such amazing women who provide a solid support system that will last a lifetime. Through philanthropy and social events, significant accomplishments and meaningful everyday moments, Delta Gamma and the sisters it has given me have impacted my life in every way possible.
